Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos received the plane carrying the coffins, five of the six injured victims, Tourism Minister Joan Clos and other officials at the military airport of Torrejon de Ardoz near Madrid.
The sixth injured victim, who has undergone two operations in Yemen, was unable to travel due to the seriousness of her condition.
Clos had flown to Yemen to coordinate the repatriation.
The convoy carrying the tourists was attacked near an archaeological site in Marib, around 190 kilometres of the capital Sana'a on Monday. The bombing also left two Yemenis dead.

The Spanish government has denied any relation between the attack against the tourists and a car bombing that killed seven Spanish peacekeepers in Lebanon on June 24.

Meanwhile it was reported that the Yemen government has promised a reward of 58,000 euros (79,000 dollars) to whoever helps to find those guilty of the attack.
