Almotamar Net - The committee for dialogue among the parties represented in the parliament approved in a meeting held Wednesday, chaired by the Secretary General of the General Peoples Congress (GPC) Abdulqader Bajammal, setting up a five-member secretariat committee provided that each party selects its representative of the committee entrusted with coordinating all that is related to dialogue meetings in the technical aspect. Almotamar.net - The committee for dialogue among the parties represented in the parliament approved in a meeting held Wednesday, chaired by the Secretary General of the General People's Congress (GPC) Abdulqader Bajammal, setting up a five-member secretariat committee provided that each party selects its representative of the committee entrusted with coordinating all that is related to dialogue meetings in the technical aspect.

The committee also approved the formation of a team to undertake crystallization what has been agreed on by the parties in the document of Principles Agreement signed in June 2006 in addition to recommendations of the European Union report on observation of presidential and local elections in Yemen last September in a legal form. The team is also to determine conducting constitutional amendments or legal amendments or procedural ones.

On the other hand the political parties reiterated their condemnation of the terrorist act that targeted the tourist convoy in the governorate of Mareb and caused the death of 7 Spaniard tourists and Yemeni citizens and the wounding of other 8 tourists.

The parties expressed their condolences for families of the victims, demanding security authorities to hunt down the terrorist elements behind the attack and make them stand trial.

For the GPC the meeting was attended by Mohammed Abu Luhoum, member of the general committee, the head of foreign relations office, Dr Ahmed Ubaid, member of the general committee, the head of mass organisations office, Tariq al-Sahmy, head of the information office and Abdulqawi al-Shamiri, deputy head of the information office.

For the Yemeni Congregation for Reform it was attended by its secretary general Abulwahab al-A'nisi and his assistant Mohammed al-Saeedi, for the Yemen socialist Party by secretary general Dr Yassin Saeed Nouman, for the Nasserite Organisation by its deputy secretary general Ali al-Yazidi and head of the political office Mohammed al-Sabri and for the Arab Baath Party its secretary general Dr Abdulwahab Mahmoud.

The committee decided to hold its next meeting the beginning of next August.
