Almotamar.net - Mareb- Hundreds of the inhabitants of Sarwah historical town, governorate of Mareb organised Saturday a demonstration condemning the criminal sabotage act the governorate witnessed last Monday and was faced with large denunciation by entire the Yemeni people.

Local sources told almotamar.net there are arrangements underway in the district to walk a massive demonstration from all parts of the governorate and to stop at the site where the criminal event happened.

Inhabitants of the city of Sarwah gathered today in downtown of the district and walked to the historical sites of Balqis throne and the temple. The demonstration was led by sheikhs, notables and social personalities of the town. Some speeches were delivered in the demonstration all of which affirmed that the terrorist act which took place last week against the Spanish tourists and their Yemeni companions contradict eth simplest habits and traditions of the governorate people that prohibit offending guests.

The gathering raised slogans condemning terror and offering condolences to families of the Spanish victims. They chanted a slogan saying from Sarwah we protect tourists. The gathering also asked media instruments to deal with the event in a sense of responsibility and keenness of the homeland and its reputation.

Spokesman for the inhabitants of Sarwah Hassan al-Zaidi told almotamar.net that the terrorists used in the past to target oil installations and people of the governorate and now they have added to that targeting tourism, economy and the homeland and the Yemenis reputation who would never think of committing such acts.
