Almotamar.net - The committee overseeing implementation of agreement articles in Saada granted the rebels an additional grace period ending on Wednesday to get down the mountains and hand over their weapons to the local committees formed for that purpose.

Reliable sources told almotamar.net the committee met Sunday sheikhs and notables of Saada who demanded an additional and final period for convincing Abdulmalik al-Houthi and his followers to leave their remaining positions in some districts and to surrender their weapons in line with the agreement. However the sources indicated that the previous period that ended today did not result in anything and that there is insistence by the insurgent elements on violating the agreement and not to commit to implement it.
