The two journalists working for the Spanish Radio Catalonia clarified they had come to Yemen to report details on the terrorist event which claimed the life of seven Spanish tourists, five of them were from the city of Barcelona and they had covered live the festival.

One of the Spanish journalists said after the participants in the festival from Sana'a and Mareb began spreading flowers on the terrorist incident site they felt an excellent impression by the Yemenis and affirmed they believe much that the terrorist event was not only targeting the Spaniards but also peace in Y emend and the rest parts of the world. The Spanish journalist also wished the tourist sector in Yemen more development and progress.

On his part the governor of Mareb Arif al-Zouka affirmed that the denunciating activity held at the same spot of the terrorist operation against the Spanish tourists and the Yemenis is a confirmation of the Yemeni people denunciation who refuse terror, the governor also revealed that the local authority of Mareb decided to build a memorial monument for the martyrs and victims of the incident. He said at opening the memorial an invitation will be extended to all the organisations, federations and unions participating in the festival and that is in honouring of the Spanish tourists and the two Yemenis who were killed in the incident.
