Almotamar.net - Taiz University is scheduled to hold a political seminar on unity, democracy and development ideas in the thought of President Ali Abdullah Saleh next Monday to coincide with the anniversary of his assumption the rule of Yemen on 17 July 1978.

The Taiz University said in a statement, almotamar.net received a copy of it, the importance of 17 July 1978 in the life of Yemenis lies in the volume of difficulties and crises mad challenges which Yemen experienced in the period before president Saleh assumption of power as president of the republic. The importance of the event is also to be clarified through many of working papers that recall that then the ambition for presidency post at that period was the escape from it and not looking for it, as the great Yemeni writer the late Abdullah al-Baradouni once mentioned.
