SANA'A, July 13 (Saba)- Yemen has been elected a member of the financial control commission of the Islamic Organization for Education, Sciences and Culture (ISESCO) in recognition OF its tangible role in the organization's various activates.

Deputy Minister of Education Abdul-Aziz bin Habtour told Saba that the ISESCO executive council 28th session, which was conducted in Rabat, Morocco, revoked the idea of creating an Islamic parliament for the youth and, instead, approved establishing an Islamic conference youth forum for dialogue and cooperation to be based in Turkey in accordance with the decision of the OIC 32nd round which was held in Sana'a in June, 2005.

The ISESCO executive council also discussed the 2006 financial report, in addition to appointment of Hadi Zado of Iran as assistant director general of the organization for the upcoming three-year period.

Moreover, the session called for complete and active solidarity with the Palestinian people and a return to dialogue table on the ground of Mecca deal to reinforce their struggle to end the Israeli occupation.

The minister bin Habtour represented Yemen in the ISESCO executive council 28th session.
