Google Alert, Gulf Times - QNB will start offering full-scale banking services in Yemen through its branch in Sana'a on Thursday. QNB is the first Qatari bank to open a branch in Yemen. The bank was granted formal approval to open a full service branch last year.

To begin with, the Sana'a branch will provide a wide range of banking services to corporations and international firms and institutions and reliable investment opportunities for its clients in both Doha and Yemen.
In April, QNB opened new representative offices in Libya and Singapore; and is currently preparing to open new branches in Oman and Kuwait supplementing its existing branches in London and Paris.

The London-based Ansbacher, QNBs wealth management and private banking subsidiary, operates in Switzerland, Channel Islands, the Bahamas, Dubai International Financial Center and Qatar Financial Center.
QNB is the highest rated bank in Qatar with the widest coverage from rating agencies such as Moodys, S&Ps, Fitch and Capital Intelligence. This year the banks rating was upgraded due to its strong capitalisation, sound asset quality, dominant position in the financial sector, and its track record.
