almotamar.net - Two committees from the Ministries of Culture and Public Works begin Saturday to make a field visit to Al-Amiriya Mosque and School to ashes what has already been done in the Dutch project.

The General Manager of Archaeology, Museums and Historical Cities at the Culture Ministry Ahmed al-Rawdhi told alotamar.net that the two committees will present a report o the remaining works and prepare documents of the tender as well as to submit a report on the technical, archaeological, architectural and constructional side.

The official pointed out that formation of the two committees came pursuant to directives of the president of the republic and his interest in preserving thing this historical landmark in addition to decision of the Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar in this regard.

The two committees are composed of artists, archaeologists and specialised architects, like Ahmed al-Rawdhi, Eng. Abdullatif al-Masani from the Antiquities Authority, Yahya al-Nassiri Antiquities Director in Baidha and Abdulmalik al-Sabri from the Ministry of Public Works.
