The GPC Secretary-General Abdulqader Bajammal on Tuesday evening held a meeting with member of the Permanent Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and his accompanying delegation and attended by the Chinese ambassador to Yemen where they discussed relations of cooperation between the GPC and the Chinese Communist party in addition to areas of cooperation in economic and investment fields.

Before the GPC Secretary General meeting with the Chinese delegation there was an official session of talks where the two parties delegations discussed activation of the protocols signed between the GPC and the Chinese Communist party and areas of cooperation of the two parties. The two sides stressed the necessity of strengthening those relations in service of the two parties and Yemen-Chinese relations.

On the other hand the Chinese delegation held two sessions of talks with officials of the Investment Authority and with chairmanship of the Free Zone in Aden. The talks dealt with the possibility of benefiting from the Chinese experiences in development of the Free Zone and attracting investments. The Chinese delegation displayed desire and readiness of China to offer necessary expertise in this field to Yemen and its country's desire for investments in the Free Zone.
