Almotamar Net - Three-hundred participants from the Middle East Partners Initiative (MEPI) meet Friday in Sanaa in a workshop on the MEPI. almotamar.net - Three-hundred participants from the Middle East Partners Initiative (MEPI) meet Friday in Sana'a in a workshop on the MEPI.

Coordinator of the workshop Hamid Khalid Ali affirmed that the workshop, to be held on the sidelines of the Civil Society Forum, parallel to Future Forum hosted by Yemen, will acquaint the participants with more about the MEPI and North Africa in addition to knowing more information on the Forum parallel to civil society organisations.

The participants will divide into groups for the participation in premises of the parallel forum that will discuss a n umber of important issues, among them the freedom of opinion and expression, the legislative environment organising the civil society, education and labour market, the woman and political empowerment, the youth and political participation and the role of the private sector in democratic changes.

It is worth mentioning that the participants in the meeting have come from various Arab countries. This meeting comes in cooperation between Human Rights Information and Training Centre (HRITC) and al-Kawakib Centre for Human Rights in Tunisia.
