Six of the suspects admitted forming an armed gang to attack Western interests and target Yemeni security and military officials with explosive belts, bombs and weapons which have been seized and presented to the General Prosecution, the Yemeni News Agency reported. Security bodies arrested the suspects on May 9 last year in Sana'a and seized explosive belts, bombs, weapons and plans on how to target foreign nationals and security officials. On the other hand, the Yemeni Court of Appeal advocated today a sentence to prison of 4 people convicted of planning to bomb the British and Italian embassies and the French Cultural Center in Yemen.
