almotamar-net - SANA'A- Prime Minister Abdul-Qader Ba-Jammal renewed on Sunday the condemnation of Yemen against any insults to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), Yemen News Agency (SABA) reported Monday.

SABA quoted Abdul-Qader as saying that Yemen seeks through the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and United Nations to publish international laws and decisions to protect and keep respect to the religious faiths of nations.

The confirmation came in Abdul-Qader address to the Yemeni lawyers who organized on Sunday demonstration against the disrespectful cartoons against Prophet Muhammad which were published in the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten and the Norwegian newspaper Magazinette.

The demonstratives presented a memo from the Yemeni Bar including a strong condemn over what has been published in the Danish newspapers, calling the government to take practical steps to face such insults.

Abdul-Qader referred the memo to the cabinet to discuss and take necessary procedures in accordance with Yemeni law that refuses any insults to Islam.
