almotamar-net - SANA'A, President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid on Wednesday a visit to the higher military academy.

He pointed out to that we would establish National Defense Academy soon, saying we could say that we go in correct way toward building modern military institution.

He added that the staff did a great mission and graduated a number of students who play main roles in keeping security.

The man has to follow all developments of army, cultural, economic and political sciences so that he can serve his country as well, Saleh said.

It is not possible to built a national economy and protect public and private freedoms without a strong army, he added.

He also pointed out to the positive steps taken by military institutions to build the national economy and achieve the peace and safeguard the national unity
