Almotamar Net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh met Thursday with the Iranian envoy, deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed 
Bakiri.

Bakiri handed over a letter to president Saleh from his Iranian counterpart president Muhamd Ahmadi-Nejad related to the fraternal relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The letter also dealt with the regional and international issues of common concern, especially Iran nuclear file.

President Saleh affirmed willingness of Yemen to reinforce ties with Iran reaffirmed Yemen's stance which insisted on right of Iranian people to possess atomic energy for peaceful purposes.
He said that we trust that Iran is working to create an atmosphere of peace with its neighboring countries as well as the world.

President Saleh asked Bakiri to convey his greetings to the Iranian president Ahmadi-Negad, wishing further progress and welfare for
