almotamar.net - The conference 64 of health Ministers Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) elected Tuesday the Republic of Yemen Deputy Chairman of the Conference while the United Arab Emirates was elected as reporter of the conference.

The conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will over two days discuss for the first time ways of fighting heart diseases and the Gulf charter of heart health with the aim of reducing heat diseases in the Gulf States and Yemen.

The conference where Yemen is represented by the Minister of Health and Population Dr Abdulkarim Yahya Rasie, discuses also many health issues in the Gulf States and Yemen and recent scientific developments for upgrading health services in the member states. The conference reviews also a detailed report on activity of the executive bureau and its achievements during the 32nd session and following up previous decisions and recommendations.
