almotamar-net - PARIS, (Saba)- Yemeni Ambassador to Paris Amir al-Aidarous said that the European Union has agreed to allocate food aid at € 5
million starting from the current year.

In his statement to Saba, al-Aidarous said that an agreement over the aid would be signed by Yemen and representative of the European Commission in Sana'a.

The grant based on a request from the French government, he said.

On the other hand, al-Aidarous said that Yemen and France would sign soon an aid agreement at € 1.5 million to be paid yearly through the Yemeni-French Technical Office in Sana'a.
