almotamar.net - Al-Ahram Company Ltd. And its energy companies partners announced Monday its willingness to invest in building independent power generating stations working by gas so that to meet needs of the Yemeni market and estimated to reach 200 Mgw for each of the Yemeni governorates.

That came in the symposium held in Sana'a Monday organized by Al-Ahram Trading Comp[any and attended by a number of leaderships and officials of the Yemeni ministry of Electricity and Energy, investment and other government institutions as well as representatives of the private sector.

The company announced also its intention to build central workshops for maintenance and providing spare parts in Yemen.
