Almotamar Net - The General Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Yemen and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bahrain agreed Wednesday on the establishment of a Joint Council for Yemenis and Bahrainis businessmen. They also agreed on establishing a trading centre for marketing Yemeni products and gods in Manama and the work on entering in joint projects in transport to facilitate the process of transfer of goods from Yemen to Bahrain and vice versa with the aim of pushing and enhancing the economic relations between the two countries almotamar.net - The General Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Yemen and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bahrain agreed Wednesday on the establishment of a Joint Council for Yemenis and Bahrainis businessmen. That was announced by the head of Investment Authority in Yemen Salah Mohammed Saeed al-Attar at a press conference at the conclusion of meetings of an informative symposium on investment in Yemen, expressing his thanks and appreciation of hospitality given to the Yemeni delegation by the government of Bahrain and its people that shows depth of the relations of the two countries.

Al-Attar affirmed the necessity of following up what had been agreed on by the two sides and the work for the implementation of the projects and ideas agreed on. He said the two sides agreed on adoption of a follow-up joint mechanism by the Investment Authority and the General federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Yemen in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bahrain.
