almotamar.net - An official source at the General People's Congress (GPC) on Thursday played down the importance of the content of a report published recently in Al-Sahwa newspaper , organ of the Muslim Brotherhood " Yemeni Congregation for Reform" and attributed it to the so-called Middle East Studies Institute.

The source said," We have been used from Al-Sahwa and those alike, whether as hard copy or on the internet, publishing such fabrications called international reports which are no different than misleading news and articles such newspapers and websites are full of and aimed intentionally to deform facts and offend the reputation of the homeland by giving dim images on political and economic situations or on the pioneering democratic pursuit that Yemen follows."

The source added that those websites and newspapers take advantage of the climates of freedom and the large area of democracy without fear from accountability or punishment and by that they offer sure evidence on the existence and richness of the real democratic practice in Yemen. The source added that the positive developments going on in Yemen represented by great changes and accomplishments at different political, democratic, developmental, social and cultural are landmarks speak about themselves.
