In the sitting chaired by Judge Mohammed Hussein al-Hakimi and presence of the general prosecution, defendant Jabr Saleh al-Banaa, sentenced for ten years by the First Instance Court, and during the court demand of him to identify himself he said the sentence of ten years in prison against him was unjust ant he has no relation with al-Qaeda organisation.

The prosecution presented a report on the reason of the appeal against some defendants, some of whom acquitted, indicating that the crimes perpetrated and planned for by the accused necessitate intensifying the punishment as they are among the serious crimes impinging upon the state security aimed against the society and the state security.

At the end of the sitting the court decided to summon the accused Jamil al-Haimi and enable the accused Jabr Saleh al-Banaa to receive a copy of the sentence so that to present his reply and obliged the appealed against them to answer questions of the prosecution.
