almotamar-net - SANA'A, - In its weekly meeting on Tuesday, the cabinet asked to continue taking precautious measures to prevent the bird flu virus entering the country.

The cabinet discussed a report on those measures presented by the ministry of agriculture and irrigation.

On Monday the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) Hashem Al-Zain affirmed that Yemen is free of the bird flue.

Al-Zain denied news that published in some newspapers about spreading the Bird Flue in Hodeidah governorate, clarifying that the health and agriculture ministers in association with WHO's experts made a field search to make sure that the area is safe.
