almotamar-net - SANA'A, - Yemen is to participate in the 60th conference for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Health Ministers which would be held between February 27-28 in the capital of Bahrain, Manama.

Abdul-Kareem Rasa, Minister of Public Health and Population, stated to Saba that the conference would discuss a number of issues related to health,specially bird flue and means to confront and take precautions of it inGulf countries.

He added that the conference would also tackle different issues related to disinfectious diseases, health care quality, supporting national health programs and cooperation and coordination between Gulf countries.

Rasa pointed out that Yemen would present a work paper to set up a project in order to transform the Arabic Peninsula into a malaria-empty region.
