Almotamar Net - Official of public relations at the Democratic School and children parliament on Tuesday said the parliament elected by 25 thousand students on 14 of this month has been distinguished from previous ones with the joining of a representative for the island of Socotra and the election of for the first time of girls from governorates of Al-Jawf, Mareb, Hajah, Saada and Shabwa that are of tribal characteristic.

Almotamar.net - Official of public relations at the Democratic School and children parliament on Tuesday said the parliament elected by 25 thousand students on 14 of this month has been distinguished from previous ones with the joining of a representative for the island of Socotra and the election of for the first time of girls from governorates of Al-Jawf, Mareb, Hajah, Saada and Shabwa that are of tribal characteristic.

The official Mohammed al-Hashidi pointed out that more than 40 schools from different governorates of Yemen have elected 47 MPs to the children parliament, among them 19 girls, indicating the representation of those of special needs and the poorest in the parliament.

The children parliament has on the other hand held this morning a meeting attended by heads of their families and would hold on Wednesday a training meeting preparing for the election of speaker and two deputies of the parliament on Thursday under the supervision of the Democratic School.
