Almotamar.net - The Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr Mustafa Bahran on Friday confirmed the news published by almotamar.net on causes of cutting electricity current from the north area of the capital Sana'a on Thursday. He said the cut came as a result of pressures from engineers of electricity and a threat of strike after five engineers came under attack by a group of persons in Gadar area in the north of the capital, affirming that the situation would be discussed in a few hours.

On the other hand the 26september.net has quoted security sources as saying security authorities have arrested 13 persons suspected to have attacked the engineers and interrogation was going on with them.
