Almotamar.net - Salma al-Dhahiri is currently working on composing a book on the life of her husband the late theatrical director Farid al-Dhahiri who passed away last year while was featuring an operetta for celebrating the Yemeni National Day 22 May.

In an exclusive statement to almotamar.net Salma said the book deals with full biography of Farid al-Dhahiri across different stages of his life beginning from his birth, growth, childhood, and period of hid education and how he was associated with art and the stage and his relationship with his friends and colleagues.

The book also deals with the beginning of her meeting him in Ukraine and the memories and woes of that period in addition to al-Dhahiri strife, concerns and desires. She has told almotamar.net that she has, in writing about the life of husband, depended on many of contributions, writings and testimonies of Farid�s relatives, friends and fans and colleagues in Yemen and outside it as well as those who were in countryside and cites.

She said she will put her final touches of the book within three months and then to present it for publication. Salma al-Dhahiri has written the book in the Russian language at the time her husband�s friend Nashwan is working on translating it into Arabic language.

Te famous artist and director Farid Ali Hussein al-Dhahiri died on 27 March 2007 of a heart attack while he was working at the celebrations theatre recording the operetta on celebration of the Yemeni 17th National Day that was held in the governorate of Ibb that year.
