almotamar.net - Child Parliament members finished the internal elections in a session held on Monday. Ameer Al-Deen Al-Muraisi was elected the Parliament's reporter, Salah Al-Abdali the president of Health and Environment Committee, Mohammed Al-Ahdal the president of Culture and Information Committee and Safa'a Al-Watari its reporter. Ali Al-Jalal was elected president of Eduacation Committee and Faten Al-Sofiani its reporter. Maria Al-Samit was elected reporter of the Human Rights Committee and Akram Saleh its president.

On 27 April, Nada Al-Sheraei was elected speaker of the Parliament, and Hamoud Abdu vice-president. Females gained 11 seats in the Parliament's leadership.

The Parliament also hosted on Tuesday Freedoms and Rights Committee in the Parliament, UNICEF, and High Committee for Motherhood and Childhood to discuss topics related to child abuse.
