Almotamar.net - In celebration of the democracy Day the 27th of April and in support for the decision of the governors election al the Yemeni governorates would on Sunday hold massive festivals to celebrate the occasion in Yemen and to express the masses anger against those who call for disintegrating the homeland. The capital Sana�a will see tomorrow a popular massive festival to be held by districts of the capital participated by political partied and mass organizations in celebration the Democracy Day of the Yemenis.

Head of the General People�s Congress (GPC) branch of the capital Jamal al-Khawlani told almotamar.net Saturday during the festival to be held at Al-Dharafi Stadium there will be speeches of the participant organizations, the local authority, parties, trade unions and federations in celebrating the occasion in addition to the achievement of electing governors of the provinces that will enhance Yemen�s moving to the local rule entertaining large powers. He indicated to completion of arrangements that the organizers of the festivals obtaining of licenses for holding the festival from the concerned sides.

Meanwhile the correspondent of almotamar.net in Hadramout said the city of Seyoun will tomorrow host a massive march organized by the local authority and take part in it political parties and organizations, mass organizations, and civil society organizations if the governorate in celebrating the Democracy Day.

Correspondent of almotamar.net in Abyan governorate said all measures for holding the massive festival in the governorate were completed for observing the occasion of the democratic Day. This Day is to be enhanced with election of governors as a courageous step that President Ali Abdullah Saleh has made the people used to take them. The correspondent added that the festival will usher a support for the election of governors and an expression of anger and denunciation of the acts violating the law aimed at impinging the unity of the homeland.

Head of the Organizational Office for the Mass Organisations of the GPC Taiz branch Amir Ali Abdullah Bahr told almotamar.net the branches of political parties and organizations and civil society organizations in Taiz have decided to hold a massive speech festival in celebration of the Democracy Day of 27 April in support for the decision of electing governors of the governorates.

He added, �We are preparing ourselves for the election of governors on 17 of next May as a first step towards the system of the local rule as a sincere confirmation of the serious orientation of the political leadership and in implementation of the election platform of President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

He pointed out that the Joint Meeting Parties were expecting that the National Defence Council would issue a decision announcing a state of emergency in the country in the wake of the acts of sabotage and plunder and road-blocking that happened in some governorates but wisdom of the political leadership was embodied in its brilliant image through the decision of electing the governors and that has brought disappointment to those parties.

Al-Mahra governorate has also witnessed a similar festival for celebrating the Democracy day and welcoming election of the governors of Yemen.

The people in all of the Yemeni governorates are expressing their denunciation and condemnation of acts violating the law aimed against the unity of the homeland.
