Almotamar.net - The Specialised Criminal Court in Yemen decided Sunday to return al-Banaa to prison. Al-Banaa is convicted for ten years imprisonment by the same court in response to request by the head of criminal prosecution from the court imprison al-Banaa who is one the escapees from prison of the political security organisation.

In the court session today chaired by Judge Mohammed al-Hakimi to consider the case of the 36-member cell accused of forming an armed group for attacking oil installations in Mareb and Hadranout, the attorney general presented his reply to appeal of the defendants and asked he court not accept their appeal as it is built on illegal basis and also asked for toughening the punishment that is decided according to the law.
While the defence body for he accused for their release on parole, the court demanded the prosecution to reply to release requests presented by the lawyers and to provide the accused with a copy the prosecution appeal so that they can reply. The court postponed the decision in the case to the sitting of next week.
