Almotamar.net - Sana'a, Jun 1- Yemen has on Sunday signed with Qatari Fahd Abdullah Al Thani Group Real Estate Development an understanding memorandum for building a 5-star hotel, exhibition halls and international conference halls as well as trade groups in the governorate of Aden.
The memorandum was signed for the Yemeni side by Vice-Chairman of the Free Zones, Chairman of Aden Free Zone Dr Abduljalil Shaef al-Shuaibi and for the Qatari side by director of the Group Abdullah Bin Fahd Bin Abdullah Al-Thani.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thani Group Sheikh Fahd had earlier announced that the Group has finished the study on the construction investment projects in Aden. He said there are projects under construction, among them an iron and aluminum plant in the free zone in addition o building a hotel in Aden.
Sheikh al- Thani, currently on a visit to Yemen, added that the projects to be carried out by his group in Yemen include real estate, industrial and tourist projects aimed at pushing forward development in Yemen and establishment of Qatari-Yemeni economic partnership with a number of businessmen in Yemen.
