Almotamar.net - Nabanews.net website and the Yemen American for Political Activity Corporation (YAPAC), headquartered in the US state of Michigan, are to organise the 1st National Symposium for the Yemeni expatriates at Arwa University in Sana'a next Monday. The symposium is devoted to discuss the reality and future Yemeni expatriates in the United States of America.
Participants in the symposium are expected to be undersecretaries of the ministries of expatriates, culture, education and social affairs and on the American side by a number of academics and YAPAC that would present detailed report on situations and work mechanisms of Yemeni communities and societies in the USA as well as the problems of the expatriates and the discussion of a vision on uniting those formations.
According to a press release obtained by almotamar.net, the symposium aims at discussing mechanisms for deepening connection of the expatriates with the homeland and means for building a national partnership between the expatriates and the homeland and activation of the Yemeni expatriates in the USA in serving democratic issues and deepening civilization understanding of the two countries' peoples. The symposium is also to discuss problems of the expatriates and hindrances blocking their positive contribution to the American life in addition to reflection of migration on reality of the Yemeni family inside and abroad.
