Almotamar.net - The Vice-President Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi opened Sunday the Sana'a 4th International Fair. Accompanying the Vice-President in this event were the Mayor of the capital Abdulrahman al-Akwaa, the Minister of Industry and Trade Dr Yahya al-Mutawakil.
In a statement to almotamar.net Dr al-Mutawakil said the political leadership gives special attention such activities because fairs have an importance in strengthening international relations and enhancing relations of trade, industrial and investment cooperation.
The minister added the fair would enable world companies to study the Yemeni market in looking for opportunities of marketing and promotion for their products as well as the trade exchange and expertise among businessmen and industrialists in Yemen and world companies.
On his part the director of marketing at Apollo Company for International Fairs Omar al-Nahmy said the fair of this year is distinguished by the increase of foreign participations by large proportions, between 30% for Turkish companies , 25% for Jordanian companies and 20% for Kuwaiti companies , followed by Egyptian, Tunisian, Syrian, Sudanese, Palestinian, Italian, Lebanese, and German companies. In addition tot hat there is a large Yemeni participation in this fair session.
