The agreement aims at offering $10 million grant by the WB devoted to building renovation projects of agricultural terraces, waters and financing to build a rural road.

The agreement was signed for the Yemeni side by planning and international cooperation undersecretary and for the WB by director of human development sector in Europe and Central Asia.

Planning undersecretary states that the agreement comes as part of the efforts for enhancement projects aimed at raising production of food as a means for encountering the ramifications of world rise in prices of food stuffs.
