Almotamar.net - Terrorist elements from al-Houthi insurgent followers last Tuesday blasted a school in the governorate of Saada. Those elements blasted a 12-classroom school for girls in the district of Sahar by using large dynamite explosives.

The local authorities have used the school building for providing lodging for people who fled the areas of confrontation between the armed forces and the rebels in the past period. The source has nevertheless affirmed that the explosion did not inflict any casualties because it happened at a time the school was empty students and migrants.

The governor of Saada Sheikh Hassan Mohammed Manie has described the incident as a criminal one and an evidence of the defeatist state the insurgents have reached in the past two days as a result of painful blows dealt on them by armed forces and security as well as the great defeats among their remaining elements and the fall of their stronghold one by one.

The governor has further said that army and security troops managed in the past two day to capture large groups of al-Houthi followers , among them one of those considered as one the main wanted for several criminal cases while others had surrendered themselves.

On the other hand a military source affirmed that army units were able to besiege the last groups of the insurgents in the area of Bani Maath and cut their supply routes and closed all outlets of departures and entering to the area. The source expected attacking them in the next hours if they did not lay down their weapons and surrender.
