Almotamar Net - The Yemeni parliament referred Saturday a draft law on safekeeping the society from AIDS to the constitutional committee of the parliament, as well as protection of persons infected with the AIDS virus. The draft law presented by Yemeni members of parliament for protection from AIDS also included 56 article distributed over 7 chapters explaining rights of those infected with the disease and their duties in addition to preserving the society and mechanism of protection , enlightenment and the media . One of the chapters was devoted to punitive measures and preventative arrangements. On the other hand the parliament referred to the commercial and industrial committee a draft law on amending a paragraph concerning trading companies.
Moreover, the parliament listened to a report presented by the joint committee comprised of the two committees of water and environment and that of development ant oil concerning a loan agreement for financing a project for developing water utilities and sewage in governorate of Aden, signed by Yemen with the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development at an amount of KD 10 million.
