Almotamar.net - Under the theme of "Towards Enhancement of Decentralization, Expansion of People's Participation in Building Modern Yemen", Taiz University is to organise on Sunday a scientific and intellectual symposium in coordination with the People's Society for Defending Rights and Freedoms and Anticorruption.

A statement issued by the university obtained by almotamar.net mentioned that the symposium will discuss many working papers focusing on the Yemeni legislations related to local authority and the extent of their compatibility forte establishment of large -powered local rule.

The working papers are expected also to discuss election of governors, the importance of the woman participation in the local rule and President Ali Abdullah Saleh's role in expansion of people's participation in the local rule and enhancement of decentralization the local rule as well as other relevant topics.
