Almotamar.net - Members of the Shoura (Consultative) Council have affirmed Wednesday the importance of building a relationship more harmonious between the parliament and the Shoura through which the authorities of the two establishments are defined more clearly, each of them separately and powers of the joint meeting of the two establishments are within the People's Assembly intended to be founded in response to the proposed constitutional amendments.
That happened during the Shoura Council discussion, in its meeting chaired by Abdulaziz Abdulghani, today of the constitutional amendments referred to the Council by President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The members pointed out to realisation of the constitutional objectives represented by a more efficient performance of the legislative power and realisation of the principle of bicameral as well as expansion of space of participation in taking decision, in harmony with the established examples of relationship that the bicameral legislative power reflects in democratic countries.
