Almotamar.net - Kuala Lumpur- the Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Dr Mohammed Khalid Nuridin has praised the level of Yemeni students studying in Malaysian universities. During his meeting on Thursday with the Yemeni Higher Education Undersecretary Dr Ali Qassem, while attending the opening Malaysian Ikram University as a specialised university in civil engineering, the Malaysian minister said he considers Yemen as his second country . He also expressed his satisfaction over the level of cultural and scientific relations between the two countries and valued the role played by the ministries of higher education in Yemen and Malaysia in that regard, affirming his country's support for Yemen in various scientific areas, he added that the Malaysian government would adopt plans for supporting Yemen and encouraging it in areas of tourism and education.
The Malaysian minister pointed out that his ministry is preparing to send a committee to Yemen to meet the Yemeni side in the Malaysian-Yemeni joint committee with the aim of activating scientific and cultural cooperation.
