Al-Anisi remarks came in the meeting of the SNACC with a delegation of the Transparency International coming from Berlin for the discussion of cooperation between the two parties on what can benefit the Commission in enhancement of its steps in combating corruption.

While expressing his thanks for the German organisation GTZ for its support offered to the Commission, al-Anisi said the SNACC needs the expertise of the Transparency International and its support in both investment and technical support areas.

In the meeting, attended by Vice-Chairman of the SNACC Dr Balqis Abu Isbaa, the Head of GTZ Office and Chief of Coordinators of the Transparency International Organisation in the Middle East and North Africa Arwa Hassan, al-Anisi pointed out the effort of the Commission in its first year that focused on the institutional building and formation of relations of cooperation and coordination with various sides concerned with monitoring and fighting corruption , locally and internationally and activation of the law of property.

On his part the chief experts of anticorruption and former chairman of GTZ stressed the importance o alliance between the SNACC and the government machinery in addition to the civil society sector, the media and the private sector for fighting corruption.
