Almotamar.net - Chairman of the Shoura Council Abdulaziz Abdulghani stressed Thursday that continuation of calls and movements adopting secessionist projects are no longer acceptable because they constitute direct targeting of the national constants and suspicious connection with foreign projects that do not intend goodness for the country and the people.

In his address at dinner banquet and a Ramadan evening given in the city of al-Hautah, Lahj governorate, the Chairman of the Shoura Council talked on the upcoming 4th parliamentary elections in Yemen scheduled in April 2009, saying while the authority is keen on meeting the elections in their date there are those who desire for not accomplishing this constitutional right. The opposition parties grouped in the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) have expressed frankly this direction recently. He said the representative of those parties has given promises inside the parliament in addition to swearing to present to the parliament names of their representatives to the supreme Commission for elections and Referendum after they got what they wanted. But those parties showed a great desire to outflank the law and the constitution to achieve more gains and to impose dictations and to empty the national partnership of its content.

Mr Abulghani added that those [parties were in reality hiding a dangerous goal of leading the country a stage of constitutional inaction.

On the other hand Mr Abdulghani condemned the terrorist attack perpetrated by a terrorist gang against the building of the American embassy in Sana'a on Wednesday morning. He has also praised the President's platform of which he said it has become a national reference.

Regarding the developments of security events Abdulghani has made it clear that the country was targeted in the past period and is still from three directions sharing the same evil will that intends to return history and impede the march of life at all levels.
