Almotamar Net - Executive Director of the International Foundation for Election Systems (IFES) in Yemen Peter Williams on Thursday expressed his satisfaction over progress of the technical procedures concerning preparations for the phase of revising and amending voter tables including the printing tables that field committees would use during the process of revising in addition to providing electoral requirements and documents. During his meeting with member of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER), the chairman of the sector of planning and technical affairs Dr Mohammed al-Siyani, Williams affirmed readiness of the Foundation to meet needs of the SCER in the technical aspects and offering technical consultancy its requires in the next stage in the way guaranteeing success of all practical procedures of the upcoming parliamentary electoral process scheduled in April 2009.

On his part Dr al-Siyani informed Mr Williams on the training campaign for the phase of revising voter tables including training of trainers and the supervising and major committees, sub-committees and security committees. He also discussed with Mr Williams the technical and training aspects for the phase of revising and correcting voter tables for 2009.
