Almotamar Net - Head of Central Apparatus for Control and Auditing (CACA) Abdullah Al-Sanfi said the CACA has revealed 518 corruption cases during 1999 and 2005, while 490 cases have been referred to court, some of which still in concerned prosecutions, and other in first instance courts to take appropriate measures. There are 28 cases that have been referred to concerned administrative authorities during the same period, but the CACA has not been informed about the procedures taken against them.

Moreover, the CACA has been informed of 697 cases during the same period, according to Al-Sanfi in an interview carried out by the motamar.net to be published later.

Al-Sanfi made it clear that period saw active relations between the CACA and concerned authorities in fighting corruption, namely with the Judiciary power, in an effort to reach a joint vision to deal with public money cases.
