Almotamar.net - Yemeni specialised criminal court decided Saturday the postponement of the trial of 12 Iranian and Pakistani nationals accused of smuggling narcotics from Pakistan to Yemen. The postponement decision came because the interpreter was not present and the prosecution has not presented the evidence so that to face the accused persons with indictment decision.
Chairman of the court Judge Radwan al- Nimr decided the postponement of trial to the 13th of this month. Yemeni authorities arrested the 12 Iranians and Pakistanis offshore Yemeni coasts on 26 last February and in their possession 3.5 tons of drugs which they were trying to smuggle them into Yemen and to re-smuggle the quantity to Saudi Arabia.
