Riyam Mukhshif - A delegation representing the Saudi Fund for Development headed by Eng. Saleh Al-Zaghibi is currently on a visit to Aden governorate to see on ground the final steps to begin a project of rehabilitation of Aden Hospital that was built at the late King Fahad�s expense and to build a Cardiac Center.

The governor of Aden Ahmed Mohamed Al-Kuhlani discussed with the Saudi delegation the conceptions pertaining to the project of the re-habilitation of Aden Hospital and building a cardiac center to which the Saudi Fund for Development allocates 50 million Saudi riyals.
The project is part of the agreement memorandum signed on the sidelines of the session 16 of Saudi-Yemeni Higher Council of Coordination held in Riyadh in late 2004. According to the agreement the Saudi government SY 50 million worth grant is offered for funding the project of supplying and operating the Aden Hospital.
During the meting there was also an acquainting with designs of the Cardiac Center and they will be discussed with the Fund regarding the cost and the period of implementation.
The governor of Aden had praised the Saudi cooperation and support for the health sector and many other development areas.
Director General of Seera district, Aden governorate Khalid Aqebah had earlier states to almotamar.net that work was underway for preparing the hosp ital to receive patients in the second half of this month and that the hospital accommodates emergency cases of patients, birth and children. He added that there would be an emergency center for childbirth and services for newly born children to meet needs of the inhabitants of Seerah, Mualla and Tawahi, as providing specialized clinics in the Qatee health complex, saying they are the specialized sections that used to offer health services at Aden Hospital.
