Almotamar.net - The Republic of Yemen and the German Bank for Reconstruction signed in Sana' Sunday six agreements for supporting the programs at sectors of education and waters costing 56.2 million euro.

According tithe agreements the German Bank is to offer 17 million and 500 thousand euro to support the 5th stage of the project of the Social Fund for Development and 20 thousand euro for supporting projects in provincial capitals through the open program.

The agreement was signed for the Yemeni side by deputy premier for economic affairs, the minister of planning and international cooperation Abdulkarim Ismael al-Arhabi and for the German Bank by deputy president of the bank.

The two sides also signed an agreement for funding projects in provincial capitals of the open program the 2nd stage in the area of Jar Zanjibar at a cost of 4 million and 781 thousand euro. Another agreement was also signed for financing a project on wastes in the city of Aden at a cost of one million and 450 thousand euro as well as an agreement for the development of secondary education and empowerment of girls to join schools at a cost of 8 million euro.

Following the signature of agreements the Yemeni deputy premier praised the steady development in relations of existing cooperation of Yemen and Germany, pointing out German contributions in supporting and enhancing the process of development in Yen especially regarding the support for sectors of education and waters.
