Almotamar.net, SABA - Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Saturday the United Nations, represented by its secretary general Ban Kimon, to take actions to lift the unfair blockade on the Gaza strip and help the people there.

In a statement, president Saleh said instead of issuing ineffective statements to Israel to stop its siege as well as double-standard policy in favor of Israel a state that exercises all illegal acts and infringes international law , the UN is rather asked to use force against this country according to the 7th term of the UN Charter.

"If another country, but not Israel, was likely to have this term be applied on, the UN will do." President Saleh said.

"It is shame the whole world sees humanitarian catastrophes in the strip but never moves or takes necessary actions to help these people." President Saleh said, adding Palestinians have been suffering the lack of food and fuel while the world can't do anything for them.
