Almotamar.net, SABA - The government referred in its meeting held on Tuesday draft by-law of organizing Hajj and Umrah activities and defining delegating abuses and their penalties raised by Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs to a committee from concerned ministries and bodies for studying it.
The draft by law covers work organizing Hajj and Umrah activities and defining abuses of regimenting and their penalties and conditions of approving agencies, preparing them and measures of registering them and directions to be followed by the agency and other measures organizing delegating Hajjis to holy lands.
The cabinet also agreed on the draft law presented by Minister of Water and Environment over forming preparatory committee for the first national symposium on utilizing the ground waters in ministries of waters and environment, agriculture and irrigation, law affairs, local administration and ministry of human rights in addition to representatives of parliament and Shoura Council and a number of local experts.
The symposium aims at defining rights of utilizing waters according to measurable standards for evaluating demands for waters, naming alternatives and development choices in harmony with real capabilities of water resources and facing social, economic and environmental effects resulted in water shortage.
