Almotamar.net - Former leading, member in the Joint Meeting parties JMP Faisal Ahmed al-Shamy said Tuesday performance of the JMP that directed to creating crises and exaggeration in address of tension pushed him to resign and join the General People's Congress GPC due to latter's entertaining of credibility in its address and its moderateness in its orientations and principles.

Faisal al-Shamy who was chairman of the partisan committee at constituency 88 in Baadan district, delegate of Yemen Socialist Party YSP general conference as well s member of governorates committee resigned from his post last Saturday as member in the YSP and asked to join the GPC out of his conviction in orientations and credibility of the GPC.

Al-Shamy mentioned a number of reasons lading to his withdrawal from the JMP at this very circumstance, among them their feeling at the YSP of their being under guardianship of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Islah and the many phenomena of dominance the Islah practices on its allies in the JMP.

In statements to almotamar.net he pointed out the existence of a bid gap between bases of the YSP and senior leaderships, in addition to the dictatorial practices and converting some organisations of the party as special feudal estate.

The branch of the GPC of Ibb governorate affirmed that procedures have been completed for Faisal al-Shamy joining the GPC in accordance to rules of procedure of the party.
