Almotamar.net, SABA - Vice President Abduh Raboh Mansor Hadi highlighted on Friday economic, social and political development in the country.

In his statement to al-Yamaniah satellite channel on 41st anniversary of independent day, Hadi said that the country witnessed huge development and democratic achievements.

He pointed out to the recent success in process of registering voters, which was ended last Tuesday within preparation for 2009 parliamentary elections that is scheduled to be held next April of
2009.

Hadi called for gathering efforts to carry out programs of development, and reducing poverty and unemployment as well as strengthening the unity within security and stability in the
nation.
