By: almotamar.net - IBB- More than 3,000 people stage a sit-in at Islah Party premises in Ibb province, asking Islah Party leadership to release about 300 million riyals kept with al-Munqedh Co. dissolution committee, and Islahi recruitment companies' statements of account.

Head of shareholders' rights, Abdullah al-Aqqab, said the situation would escalate, threatening to stage a sit-in before the Presidency House. He appealed to President Ali Abdullah Saleh to obligate head of the dissolution committee Abdul-Wahab al-Anesi, who is also Secretary-General of Islah Party, to submit the amount to the shareholders.

"In vain have we made efforts since five years in following up this case. This sit-in is considered the fourth of its kind since Islahi leaders took responsibility of a 1.8-billion-riyal amount, paid from the state's budget to compensate al-Manafedh Co for Kaltex real estate," al-Aqqab noted.

According to al-Aqqab, the committee, formed at the directives of Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein al-Ahmer, includes Mohammed Qahtan, Abdul-Jalil Saeed, Mohammed al-Saadi, and Hamid al-Ahmer, and chaired by Abdul-Wahab al-Anesi. All of them are leaders in Islah Party.

Al-Aqqab, an Islah Party leader, called on Sheikh Abdul-Majeed al-Zindani to convince his colleagues at Islah leadership to return the money kept with them without legal reasons.
